Don't worry -- I'm here to guide you through the process. It's probably the first time you've done this, but rest assured, it's not the first time I've done it! I've had lots of practice helping mamas just like you feel comfortable in front of the camera to bring out the beauty of your pregnant belly.

Kate was recommended to us by a friend when we moved to the area. She did maternity family photos and newborn photos for us. We were absolutely thrilled with the experience from start to finish. She was wonderful with my energetic 2 and 4 year old boys and knew how to engage them. We have had multiple different photographers over the years in the various places we have lived, and this experience outshines them all. I typically feel pretty awkward in front of a camera, but Kate made me feel very comfortable and beautiful. She also offers client styling (if you are like me and can never decide on the right outfit for photos). This was huge for me and I took advantage both times. When you inquire about a session here is what will happen...
Congratulations on your pregnancy! If you've had a chance to look around and love what you see, reach out to me and let's get the conversation started.
You can choose to book a single maternity session, or join my Motherhood Collective and have everything documented from bump to baby to birthday. Most of my clients choose to join the membership for the savings and ease in knowing that they won't miss a single moment of their baby's fleeting first year.

Once you are booked, you'll receive a questionnaire to help me get to know you and together we will create the vision for your session. I will use your answers to design a beautiful, relaxed maternity session either in my studio or at a location we choose together.
You'll also receive my Client Prep Guide that includes wardrobe guidance, tips for getting ready for the session, and more!

Depending on the session type you choose, you'll arrive at my cozy studio in Etters, PA or we will meet at the chosen location. Outdoor sessions start approximately 45 minutes before sunset.
I hate to keep you waiting, so shortly after your session I'll share a sneak peek with you. Within a week of your session, a gallery will be sent to you ready to be viewed from the comfort of your home. You'll choose your collection at this time. Every collection includes a set amount of digital files.
After choosing your collection images, I will put the finishing touches on your images and you will receive the final high resolution images via your online gallery.

I prefer to capture maternity sessions between weeks 28-32 of your pregnancy. This allows us to show case your beautiful bump without worrying about you potentially being uncomfortable during your shoot.
However, there really is no wrong time to celebrate your pregnancy!
This is completely up to you. I offer my clients the option of my beautiful studio in Etters, PA for a studio maternity session or I have a curated list of amazing outdoor locations throughout the Susquehanna Valley and beyond. I am always open to new locations if you have somewhere you hold near & dear!
My calendar books out a couple of months in advance, so my recommendation is to schedule your maternity session once you've entered your second trimester. This ensures you can schedule your session for a date that best fits into your busy schedule!
Absolutely! The more the merrier. Both play an integral part of telling your story. I love including your furry family members as much as I do capturing your children!

Prior to your session we will have a consult call where we will discuss wardrobe, color preferences, and plan out your entire session. I will help guide you to choose outfits that complement your style and photograph beautifully. I have an incredible client wardrobe available exclusively to all of my clients!
Of course! While the majority of my work takes place in and around Harrisburg, PA - I am always open to traveling to you.
A nominal mileage fee does apply for sessions that take place more than 30 miles from 17370.
