CALLIE'S LANCASTER CITY IN HOME SESSION
BEAU'S STUDIO NEWBORN
MOREAUX'S LANCASTER IN HOME NEWBORN
Lancaster isn't just a town I serve. I'm a Hempfield High School grad who lived in Lancaster from middle school until my early twenties, so when Lancaster families reach out, it feels a little like photographing my hometown's next generation. I don't take that lightly.
Here's something that still amazes me: families regularly drive to my York Haven studio from Lancaster City, Lititz, even Reading, passing plenty of photographers on the way. And here's the part most Lancaster families don't realize: depending on where you live in the county, that drive is shorter than you think. From Elizabethtown, Mount Joy, or Mountville, my studio is an easy trip across the river, often quicker than getting across Lancaster City on a Saturday.
And when a drive with a days-old baby sounds like a lot? I pack up the client closet and come to you. I photograph in-home newborn sessions throughout Lancaster County.

Captured on a rainy day in the heart of Lancaster City, Callie's in-home newborn session was calm, cozy, and full of sweet moments. Despite her big brother's endless energy, we captured a beautiful gallery that celebrated their growing family and all of Callie's tiny newborn details. One of my favorite things about in-home sessions is giving siblings the freedom to simply be themselves. Being in a familiar space helped big brother feel comfortable, resulting in genuine moments that perfectly tell the story of this season of life.
I had the joy of photographing Beau's mama during her maternity session, and I was so excited to welcome them back for his newborn photos. Since his session took place just after Easter, we incorporated the sweetest little bunny bonnet for a few timeless portraits. Beau was an amazing sleeper, allowing us to capture a beautiful variety of classic newborn images that his family will treasure for years to come.
Moreaux's in-home newborn session took place in a beautiful Lancaster City townhome, giving us so many unique spaces to photograph. We captured cozy moments in Mom and Dad's bedroom, the living room, and even the kitchen, creating a gallery that truly reflected their life at home with their new baby. Of course, their sweet pup joined in for a few photos too, because pets are family and deserve to be part of these memories.
Most of my Lancaster families welcome their babies at Women & Babies Hospital, and a couple weeks later we're either curled up in my studio or spread out in their living room. Either way, the experience is the same: calm, unhurried, and completely handled for you.
When you book your newborn session with me, you can expect:
Closer than you think. From western Lancaster County, my studio is an easy drive across the river.
Or zero miles. In-home sessions across Lancaster County, most with no travel fee!
Everything handled. Client closet for mom and siblings, wraps and outfits for baby, and a plan we build together on your consult call.
Worth it either way. Families pass a lot of photographers between Reading and my studio door. There's a reason they keep making the trip.
We showed up and our newborn was wide awake, and Kate worked with him to get him to snooze for his photos. She was fast to respond when scheduling, quick to get our photos back, and so patient with our little one. Highly recommend!

Yes, all the time. I photograph in-home newborn sessions throughout Lancaster County, including Lancaster City, Lititz, Manheim, Mount Joy, and Elizabethtown. Most of Lancaster County carries no travel fee. For sessions on the far side of the county, a small mileage fee applies, and I'll always tell you upfront.
About 40 minutes from Lancaster City, and closer from the western side of the county. From Elizabethtown or Mount Joy it's roughly 30 minutes. Faster if you take the Turnpike!
Second trimester is the sweet spot. I hold your due date and we confirm the exact session date once baby arrives, ideally when they're 7 to 21 days old. Older newborns are always welcome.
Neither, honestly. Studio gives you the classic posed portraits with every prop at arm's reach. In-home gives you your nursery and your baby's real first setting. We'll talk it through on our consult call, and plenty of Lancaster families have done both across different babies.
