Here's a fun fact about my business: a huge share of my newborn clients come from Mechanicsburg and the West Shore. Enola, Shiremanstown, Hampden Township, Upper Allen, Camp Hill. Year after year, Mechanicsburg families keep finding me, mostly the old-fashioned way, through a friend, a sister, a coworker who showed off their gallery.
There's a reason for that. My studio is located in York Haven, an easy 20 minute drive down 83, close enough that getting newborn photos doesn't feel like an expedition with a days-old baby. And when leaving the house sounds like too much (no judgment, I've had three newborns of my own), I'll bring the whole session to your Mechanicsburg home instead.

I've had the privilege of photographing this family since their oldest son was born, and now they're a family of four boys! It's such an incredible honor to watch families grow and continue trusting me with these milestones. This was the second newborn session I've photographed in their Mechanicsburg home, and it perfectly captured what life looks like for them these days—equal parts joyful chaos and overwhelming love. Those are the moments I hope they'll remember most years from now.

Haven's baby-only newborn session was filled with the softest spring colors and the sweetest little details. She was an absolute dream to photograph, giving us a beautiful variety of timeless portraits that kept the focus on just how tiny and perfect she was. Sometimes the simplest sessions become the most classic, and this little pea was no exception.
EMMALINE'S IN HOME NEWBORN
Emma's in-home newborn session in Mechanicsburg was everything I love about photographing families at home. Beautiful natural light filled every room, her sweet big brother was so gentle with his new baby sister, and their family couldn't have been kinder. These quiet, love-filled moments are exactly what make in-home newborn sessions so special, creating timeless images that feel just as warm and genuine as the memories themselves.

Your choice: my studio in York Haven, about 20 minutes from Mechanicsburg just off I-83, or in your own home anywhere in the Mechanicsburg and West Shore area. Posed newborn sessions happen in the studio; lifestyle sessions work beautifully in either.
Nope. Mechanicsburg is close enough that in-home sessions carry no travel fee.
Second trimester is ideal. I hold your due date, and once baby arrives we confirm a session date when they're about 7 to 21 days old. Older babies are always welcome, it's never too late.
Newborn sessions are baby led and therefore no two sessions are exactly the same. But on average you should expect to be at the studio for around 2 hours or have me in your home for around 90 minutes.
