I'm Kate!
I'm a Central PA family photographer specializing in meeting your family where you are. Whether your kiddos start out shy or wild, my experience as a mom and a photographer allows me to capture the moments as they unfold naturally.
I'm a Master Family Photographer and Master Newborn Photographer certified by the National Association of Portrait Child Photographers, and was voted Simply the Best Photography by Harrisburg Magazine in 2023. I've photographed hundreds of families and I take telling your story personally.
My sessions are calm, guided, and child led. You show up. I handle everything else.

Every session includes a pre-session consultation, wardrobe guidance, and access to my client closet. You show up. I handle everything else.

Kate photographs families throughout Central PA. Family sessions are held either in the mornings or during golden hour. A curated location guide is provided to families upon booking. Collection prices include your weekday session fee. Weekend sessions add $50.

How it Works
Step 1: Reserve Your Date
A session fee books your date and covers your full session experience: $149 for weekday sessions, $199 for weekends. It's not an extra cost, it's your deposit. Every dollar applies toward the collection you choose later.
We'll plan your date, location, and outfits together, then I'll guide you through a session that feels unhurried, fun, and meaningful. No stiff posing, no wrangling, just your family actually enjoying each other while I do my thing.

After your session, you'll see a proofing gallery of the best images before you decide anything. Then you simply pick the collection that fits and pay the difference. Your session fee already covered part of it.

We'll plan your date, location, and outfits together, then I'll guide your whole crew through a session that feels unhurried, fun, and meaningful. Extended family sessions include the big group shot, plus grandparent combos, cousins, siblings, candids, and a mini session for each individual family. Everyone goes home with photos of their own people.
Step 2: Take Beautiful, Fun Photos with Your Entire Family
After your session, you'll see a proofing gallery of the best images before you decide anything. Then you simply pick the package that fits and pay the difference. Your session fee already covered part of it.
Held outdoors in Central PA. Family sessions are fun, relaxed, and kid led. Sessions are approximately 60-90 minutes. (The kids start maxing out after much longer!)
Individual family units & entire family is photographed. Pricing is up to 20 individuals.
