I know how fast it goes because I have 3 of my own. Babies grow up in the blink of an eye and you don’t want to forget what makes them beautiful and unique right now. Kate was recommended to us by a friend when we moved to the area. She did maternity family photos and newborn photos for us. We were absolutely thrilled with the experience from start to finish. She was wonderful with my energetic 2 and 4 year old boys and knew how to engage them. We have had multiple different photographers over the years in the various places we have lived, and this experience outshines them all. I typically feel pretty awkward in front of a camera, but Kate made me feel very comfortable and beautiful. She also offers client styling (if you are like me and can never decide on the right outfit for photos). This was huge for me and I took advantage both times. Can’t wait to use Kate again for all of our family photos in the future!

Before your session, we will meet either in person or virtually and plan your baby's wardrobe for your session. I will help you hand select pieces to match your vision. If we're planning a cake smash session, we will choose a theme and talk decor. And we will start planning out the beautiful wall art and albums you're going to display throughout your home.

This is the day when all our planning comes together. Our session will be laid-back and enjoyable, allowing you to just be in the moment. You won’t have to worry about how to get that perfect smile from your little one—that’s my job.
I’ll guide you with prompts and gentle direction throughout our time together, capturing every detail, timeless portraits, and the genuine connections that show the love and bond you share.

I hate to keep you waiting, so shortly after your session I'll share a sneak peek with you. Then when your gallery is ready we will meet again via Zoom to debut your photos. I will design custom options for your wall art and albums and guide you through the image & product selection process. You will place your final artwork order at this meeting.

This is the best part! Approximately 6-8 weeks after your viewing & ordering appointment, your artwork will be hand delivered to your home by me and be ready to be proudly displayed on the walls of your home for your family to cherish for years to come!

Is there anything we love more than beautiful photos of our children?
Not ready to commit to a membership or just need more flexibility to book when you need to? No problem, single sessions are the perfect option.
Sessions include:
- Styling consultation & studio wardrobe
- Detailed session prep guide
- Hosted in Etters studio or certain sessions can be hosted outdoors on location
- variety of themed sessions
Any time in your baby's first year is absolutely worth documenting! The most popular ones following a newborn session are a tummy time session around 3 months, a sitter session around 9 months, and a first birthday/cake smash session!
Most milestone sessions take place in my centrally located studio just off I-83 minutes from Harrisburg. Outdoor milestone sessions can also be incredibly fun and I've got a curated list of perfect locations for all of your photography needs.
You're going to blink and this fleeting time will be over. have all the pictures taken! They say babies don't keep and it could absolutely not be more true!
It's always best to plan ahead. Sessions like cake smashes do take a bit of planning and coordination, so I recommend at least 4-6 weeks out. The earlier the better in terms of snagging the prime spots on my busy calendar.
That’s completely normal and totally expected! I’ll meet your kids right where they are, and together, we’ll find ways for them to be themselves and have fun. Sitting still and saying "cheese" isn’t my style. Instead, we’ll play games, chat about their favorite things, and capture who they truly are in this moment!
Kate is all-around a great photographer and is exceptional with families! She is patient with babies, toddlers, and kiddos alike, and some of the impromptu photos she’s taken have become our favorites!

Prior to your session we will have a consult call where we will discuss wardrobe, color preferences, and plan out your entire session. I will help guide you to choose outfits that complement your style and photograph beautifully. I have lots of adorable baby outfits in my stash that photograph beautifully.
Of course! While the majority of my work takes place in and around Harrisburg, PA - I am always open to traveling to you.
A nominal mileage fee does apply for sessions that take place more than 30 miles from 17370.
