Step into the studio for Evelyn’s Spring inspired sitter session, inspired by Spring beauty.
Evelyn joined me for her Spring inspired sitter session last week. Her mama gave me pretty free rein to choose the style of the session, but did mention she wanted Spring and had chosen a few of her favorite images from my client closet I showed her.
Before her session, I pulled about 6 of *my* favorite sitter sized outfits & coordinating head pieces. I laid them out for mama to choose for baby girl once they arrived. In addition, I stopped at Giant on my way to the studio that morning because I was inspired to use some fresh Spring blooms for her session! Purple tulips were the flower I chose and oh my word, I am so so glad I did!
Evelyn was an absolute joy to work with. She was happy as could be and sat like a perfect angel in the cute woven basket for me! We snapped a few images without the pretty floral crown first. And then threw on the crown. It was seriously the cherry on top of her sweetness!
I seriously could not have loved this session more! After we got a ton of amazing pictures in the basket, we moved on to another one of mama’s client closet picks! This was an adorable maroon romper with a flower headband. I got a little creative when editing and played with the color of the romper. I can’t decide which color suits her best! What do you think?!
Not only was Evelyn super sweet and playful, she also has the most dreamy eyes! She hang out on the soft fur mat and played with her feet. It was just the cutest thing!
Last outfit on the agenda was a mama pick brought from home. Classic Osh Kosh overalls with a spring onesie underneath! I was able to use the tulips again and plop her in yet another adorable basket! Baskets are perfect for sitters who are still just a little wobbly sometimes!
I had the best time shooting and editing this session. Evelyn was such a doll and I just loved her entire session! I can’t wait to photograph more sitter sessions in my studio, they are SO MUCH FUN!
