Historic Shady Lane – Manchester, PA
The stars aligned when we got to shoot this session at the beautiful Historic Shady Lane in Manchester, PA. While it’s an incredible wedding venue, it’s also got beautiful grounds for just about any type of session!!!
Jaime turned up looking absolutely beautiful in an emerald grown gown and we had the most incredible session capturing her baby girl on the way!!
From the vintage greenhouse to the creek down through the gardens and beyond…the weather was perfection and we had so much fun exploring the property.
The vintage greenhouse was our first stop. It’s so unique inside and out, it creates such a visually stunning backdrop for pictures. It’s even more incredible when the sun sets behind it! All the heart eyes!!!
Next we headed down the hill toward the creek that runs through the property. Gah, how sweet is this couple! It’s impossible not to be excited for them & their new baby girl!
Jaime was even game to get her feet wet in the creek. I love when my expecting mamas are up for whatever crazy ideas come my way when we are shooting. It helps make each session unique and gives beautiful photos that are one of a kind!
Beyond the creek, a little bit further down the grounds was an amazing little wildflower field. Seriously, it was like one spot was just more magical than the next at Historic Shady Lane. Straight out of a fairy tale.
On the way back up to the greenhouse, we meandered through the gardens. It was still early spring, so they weren’t in full bloom, but still spectacular nonetheless.
Hands down one of my favorite maternity sessions to date. The gorgeous backdrop, the beautiful glowing mama, and the fantastic weather all worked together to create an unforgettable maternity session. Keep your eyes out for baby girl’s lifestyle newborn session blog post coming soon!!
