Red Mill Tree Farm in Goldsboro, Pennsylvania, is a hidden gem for your Christmas tree needs. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, this family-run farm offers a delightful selection of evergreens. With its rustic charm and friendly atmosphere, Red Mill Tree Farm creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable holiday experience.
From their website, “The price of the Christmas tree depends on the type and height of the Christmas tree. Our typical field tree price for under eight feet, except for Fraser Fir, ranges from $55 to $65.00. The price includes PA sales tax. For trees over eight feet tall, there is a $10.00 charge per foot. There is a $3.00 fee for netting the tree.
We have a Charlie Brown lot for customers who want an inexpensive and unusual tree. The price of a Charlie Brown tree starts at $15.00.”

McCurdy’s opens for their “tree cutting” season on Friday, November 24th at 9am. In addition to Christmas trees, their farm also features farm animals, weekend entertainment, and Kennedy’s Kitchen food trailer!
3. Gruver’s Tree Farm New Cumberland, PA (Approx. 10 minutes from Harrisburg):

4. Boiling Springs Christmas Tree Farm, Boiling Springs, PA (Approx. 30 minutes from Harrisburg):
If you’re up for a slightly longer drive, Boiling Springs Christmas Tree Farm is well worth the trip. This family-run farm in Boiling Springs provides a cozy, festive atmosphere to find your Christmas tree around Harrisburg. You can enjoy hot cocoa and snacks while capturing holiday moments with your camera. They will open, for the 2023 season, on Friday, November 24th!
5. Country Barn Farm Market, Lancaster, PA (Approx. 40 minutes from Harrisburg):
If you’re looking for a unique Christmas tree shopping experience, a visit to the Country Barn Farm Market in Lancaster is a great idea. Besides a great selection of trees, they host a “Christmas on the Farm” event with hayrides and a festive barn. The trees they offer a fresh cut and they do not have an option to cut down your own tree.
6. Rudy’s Christmas Tree Farm, New Bloomfield, PA (Approx 30 minutes from Harrisburg):
The Rudy family has been hand planting, hand trimming, hand watering and growing Christmas Trees (and more!) on their 30 acre, Perry County tree farm since 1979. Their 1952 Ford tractor can fetch the largest trees. Handsaws, tree sleds, tree trunk drilling, and tree netting provided.
Open for the 2023 season on Black Friday, Nov 27. 10-4pm.
