Last week I highlighted four of my favorite locations for fall photo shoots in Central Pennsylvania. While I do offer a client closet, some people still prefer to wear or purchase their own outfits for their sessions. So today I want to share with you some of my favorite fall photography styles for your family to wear during a fall session, along with links to find each piece.
Styles for Mom
More often than not, Mom is so busy making sure everyone else smiles, looks their best and is picture-perfect that she forgets about herself. With me as your photographer, that’s definitely not the case! Whether you’re wearing your own clothing or choosing items from my closet, you can be sure that I will highlight just how strong and important you are. That’s why I am starting with Mom to show three different outfit combinations for a perfect fall session.
The first outfit includes a sweater, dark washed, distressed jeans and weathered brown wedge boots.
The second outfit includes a flowing white dress, that’s available in various colors, light pink, heeled booties and a tan sun hat.
The third outfit for mom includes a plain black bodysuit, which can be used again and again, a cardigan, dark washed, distressed jeans and weathered brown wedge boots.
Styles for Dad
Next up in our Fall Photography Styles for the Family, we have outfits for dad. The most important thing when styling your family is to make sure all of the colors flow together, which is why the outfits for dad are simple, earthy tones without an abundance of designs or prints. We want to make sure that dad is comfy, but ready for his close up.
The first outfit includes a beige colored Henley tee, gray pants and black Oxford shoes.
The second outfit for dad includes a mustard colored Henley tee, brown jacket, dark washed jeans and tan Oxford shoes.
Styles for Little Misses
Next up in our Fall Photography Styles for the Family are the bigger, little misses in your life. Sticking with the earthy, fall tones, any of these outfits will pair well with the ones for mom and dad. Whether your girls prefer a dress and tights or a sweater with leggings, or maybe one of each, we have something for everyone.
The first outfit includes a short sleeved brown dress, off-white, fleece-lined ribbed tights and brown boots.
The second outfit for the little misses in your life includes a dark blue, lace trimmed dress, off-white, fleece-lined ribbed tights and black Mary Jane dress shoes.
The third outfit includes black leggings, black camisole, earthy/fall toned striped sweater and brown boots.
Styles for Baby Girls
And now for the smaller, little misses in your life! Baby clothes are quite literally the cutest ever and always so fun to style, which is why I’ve chosen EIGHT different options for baby girls in the Fall Photography Styles for the Family. All of these outfits could be paired with black Mary Jane shoes or left barefoot so we can see their cute baby toes!
On the first image we have a brown bodysuit with ruffles on the shoulders, a light blue romper with matching headband and a long-sleeve plaid dress.
On the second image we have a pink and white long-sleeve dress and a brown, floral printed bodysuit with a matching headband and white tights.
On the third image we have a beige long-sleeve dress with white tights, an off-white long-sleeve crocheted bodysuit and a brown and white, long-sleeved floral bodysuit.
Styles for the Boys
Last, but most certainly not least, in the line-up for our Fall Photography Styles for the Family, we have boys of all ages! Admittedly, there are many more options for little (and baby) girls than there are for boys, but that’s okay! We can mix and match perfectly to fit with the other outfits for the family, while making sure the boys stay cute and comfy.
For the bigger boys we have a light green Henley tee paired with a dark green sweater, dark washed blue jeans and faux fur lined dress sneakers.
For the baby boys, on the first image we have one pair of pull-on Levi’s jeans with three different tops – a blue, brown and white plaid shirt, white and tan striped sweater and a dark blue Henley tee. On the second baby boys image we have three different sets that all include the bodysuit and bottoms – the first is a white and tan bodysuit with tan, drawstring pants, the second is an all white, long-sleeve collared bodysuit with tan overalls and the third is a white and dark blue striped bodysuit with brown pants.
