Hop into the creek & let’s cool off!
Kate had a vision for her maternity session. Two outfits, one a beautiful boho lace gown by Zebu Be You and then a more laid back jeans & bralette for splashing in the creek! The weather the evening of her session was looking like it was going to storm any second, but the storms stayed away, thanks to the weird weather patterns in Central PA and the Susquehanna River Valley.
The open fields at Vincent DiFilippo Nature Preserve made for the most beautiful, simple backdrop for her session. Even though the grasses were pretty prickly, Kate was a trooper and finished her look by going barefoot and carefree!
Next, we moved towards the beautiful creek that is located at the preserve. The Conodoguinet Creek runs just along the edge of the preserve. The water is slow and calm. On a hot evening, it felt amazing to wade into the water and capture some beautiful images of this mama to be’s gorgeous round belly. Oh how I wish I had photos like these of my pregnancies!!
I am so thankful Kate trusted me in taking these pictures for her. She is an absolutely beautiful expecting mama and I just know she will look back once baby arrives and smile remembering what an amazing, incredible thing she did in growing an entire human!
